Sprucing Up Spring With Florals

Welcome to the continuation of Spring Spruce Up. The yard is slowly being transformed into a beautiful garden with bougainvillea and exoria.

Inside the home, I’m obsessed with the paint color Sherwin Williams 1348 razzle dazzle. So, I found just the right fabric in a rich velvet from Schumacher called Sophia Velvet: Fuchsia—so there was no doubt to upholster an ottoman for my newly decorated studio.

Ready for Sandra Kay's Tip of The Day?
Here it is:

Take Care Of Your Rugs!

Sounds simple right? That's because it is! Whether you're doing it yourself, taking the rugs to a cleaner or having a cleaner visit your home, regular cleaning will protect your investment, keep your home fresh and ensure you can enjoy your gorgeous rugs for their long life!

Live in the Houston area and need a rug cleaner?

Check out Oriental Rug Gallery of Texas.  When you visit or call, speak with Howard or Joseph, and prepare to meet your new “go-to guys” for rugs! From exceptional service to pick-up and delivery options, they are fantastic. I’ve worked with them for 17 years, and have never had to even think of another alternative for work because of their extraordinary service and dedication. Stop by the store at 5620 Westheimer for a great selection of rugs from traditional, transitional to modern.

With stores in Houston, San Antonio, Dallas and Austin, they can get you the rug you are looking for in a day or two.

According to the experts, you should “protect your investment by giving immediate attention to stains by either blotting with a clean cloth or scraping the substance off with a spoon. Add a small amount of water to the area and blot again." Club soda also helps to lift out many types of stains. An upright vacuum cleaner is recommended for regular maintenance, but for professional cleaning and repairs entrust your rug specialist.

Bye for now— it's time to enjoy some of this great Houston weather!
